Why Should You Love Your Dogs As Much As You Would A Person?

Not everybody can be like Saint Francis, Dr. Doolittle or any other animal lover that we may have admired at some point in our lives. A lot of us in America or in any other part of the world would like to have dogs. But when we do have them, what do we do with these dogs? Does the novelty wear off once they're no longer puppies?

That would be a shame. No wonder the idiomatic expression “puppy love” is so popular. Are you one of these people who only love their dogs when they're young? Are you one of those people who keep them caged up the whole day or never ever show them any form of affection? What's the point of having a dog when it's as if you treat them like it's an added burden to you or even as a liability once the novelty wears off? Dogs are supposed to be your companions through life; even dogs are considered as man's best friend. Have you shown your dog any love today?

1. Keep them loyal to you.

Just like the famous massive multiplayer online role playing game (MMORPG) World of Warcraft, which by the way earns enough annual revenue that it could finance a small country, dogs in the real world need to be fed and shown love if you want them to stay by your side. It would be a really sad thing if your own dog that you've probably raised yourself, that which you treated as your own flesh and blood would turn against you. Dogs, no matter how big or small should stay loyal to you through whatever time of your life you're in.

Just like the hunters in World of Warcraft, feeding and training your dogs well will definitely pay off in the future. You don't need to train them to the caliber that they can be considered as champion dogs of course. And no we're not trying to let any dogs here become bomb or drug sniffing dogs, that's a special case already. Even simple tricks like fetch, sit, roll over and lie down can already be very good skills that your dog can acquire. For one thing, you can communicate to your dog a lot better if you train them. You'll know what makes them happy, sad and angry.

2. Dogs need love too, you know.

Dogs are considered to be very affectionate animals, showing emotions like whether they're happy, sad, or want to go pee-pee. Such intelligent creatures aren't they? If they can communicate to you this much, you could also assume that they would also understand their masters whether they love them or not. It's always a nice thing to ponder on; knowing that once you get home there's always a wagging tail around the house waiting for your arrival. Dogs also seem to cheer people up a lot, you know, with their cuteness and sometimes the unmeant humor that they bring. Have you ever tried checking out videos of dogs doing cute things on youtube? Like say a dog getting along with a cat or something like that? It'll definitely warm up your heat seeing something like that.
